Please include SE Hants walks programme request in the email subject line to permit auto-forwarding Single programmes are issued free-of-charge to people who want to try a few walks. Each programme covers a 4 month period. A summary of the walks on our current programme is shown on a month by month basis at May walks, June walks, July walks, August walks, September walks, October walks. However, to join a walk you will need the printed programme, which gives more detail on the starting point for the walk, train times for train walks (these involve catching a train to the starting point, and are sometimes linear walks between stations), places to be visited on the walk, and where the leader will join the group. The printed programme also gives details of social events, weekends away etc. Alternatively, you can get this information by 'phoning the leader, if the leader's contact details are given in the summary, or by using the RA Walks Finder, as described in the next paragraph. First log on to the national RA website www.ramblers.org.uk About halfway down the home page, in the right hand column, click on Find a led walk. In the left hand column of the new page, under the heading FIND AREAS AND GROUPS, enter waterlooville. Below the heading South East Hants Group click on Find Walks by South East Hants Group. If you click on any walk on the list you will get full details of the walk, and two maps that show the start point for the walk. Before joining your first walk you are advised to check the Guidance for walkers page on this website. The programme is available to members of other RA groups at a cost of £2 + 3 SAE per year. Please contact Margaret Davies - details above.
